Chinese restaurants in the United States range from steam-table lunch counters to white-tablecloth Cantonese seafood halls, and most fall somewhere in between: a laminated menu, a lunch special board, and combo plates priced a few dollars below the dinner menu. Ordering by number off the menu is normal and speeds things up, especially at takeout counters. Family-style ordering, where a table shares several dishes with rice rather than each person getting an individual entree, is standard at sit-down spots and usually cheaper per person. Many neighborhood restaurants are cash-preferred or charge a small card fee, so it is worth asking or checking the door before you order. Delivery apps cover most areas, but calling the restaurant directly is often faster and avoids the markup.

The business lists hours on 6 days of the week. Typical hours are 11 am–9:30 pm. Note that it does not open on Tuesday. Disappointing food. We always try new Chinese restaurants with the hope of finding good, consistent cuisine. While the food appeared to be made well, the taste was just β€œnot thereβ€œ. We ordered Chow fun, the broad rice noodles. It had a cinnamony taste and I suspect they used a lot of five spice powder. The noodles were cooked well, but the aftertaste killed it. I ordered MaPo tofu , which is a good test of a Chinese restaurant. Everybody makes theirs differently, but despite the variations, it is often flavored well. This one had that same cinnamon taste that the chow funsuffered from. Tofu was used, as opposed to soft tofu in most restaurants, but I actually preferred it. But again, the flavor was not good. We ordered boneless spareribs. They are usually a good appetizer. These were tough and overcooked. Again, it tasted similar to the other food. If you enjoy the taste of the food, you will be blessed with consistency. You may have to drive a bit farther, but I believe there are better options within a reasonable radius.

Best Chinese food in the Lehigh Valley I assure you!!! The food is consistent, always delicious and always steaming hot when we come to pick it up. Can’t recommend this enough. Truly a hidden gem.

I stopped by to sample their dumplings while in the area, as I am a big fan of dumplings πŸ₯Ÿ. However, I was disappointed to find that the appearance was unappetizing and the taste did not meet my expectations. I found them to be unpleasant and almost had to resist the urge to vomit. I couldn't help but wonder if they were using old meat or some questionable ingredients. The photo doesn't accurately capture the true appearance of the dish. The flash from my camera may have initially made it appear more vibrant, but in reality, the colors were lackluster and unappetizing.

Sweet and quick service! Pork fried rice is bomb and they put extra pork ❀️. Love the general Tso and pork steamed dumplings! Best Chinese food in the valley! I’ve moved and you don’t know how good you have it until you lose it πŸ₯Ί They always fill to the rim, and everyone there is so kind!

Update 1/22: And the freshness & tasty cooking continues. I've had one or two dishes this year that weren't fabulous, but, in general, the restaurant has served fresh dishes, fresh vegetables, and food with flavor. Worth extra $1 for extra veggies in a dish, too! Yes, we eat general style type dishes- but, let's be real- if a restaurant can't reliably produce these can you count on them for anything else? Thank you, New Star! Compliments to Cooking Team. Order directly- not worth ordering thru Uber Eats. Direct delivery is excellent. 1/ 2021: Fresh & Delicious and delivered hot! Thank you for regrouping. I so enjoyed my fried wings , egg roll, Udon 🍜, and Sesame Chicken. I am so pleased that I don't have to keep driving elsewhere. With this flavor old customers will come back. Plus, your online ordering is easy to use.
